Oculine 24, 31.

- LINK OF THE WEEK -

Chicago Reader: Wild Wild Midwest.

This is a wonderful and dense alternative-take on tourism in Detroit; it's really cool. I should also note that if you're not able to visit the Motor City anytime soon, you can probably explore a lot of these places online, via Google Earth or Google Street View.

- QUESTION OF THE DAY -

What's your favorite thing to do in Detroit?

I've only been to the Eastern Market once, but I thought it was pretty great.

Don't have many things to comment on but loved the Motown Museum. Detroit is so far removed from anything this English country-ish girl is used to that the whole thing is quite an experience, I must say!

North American International Auto Show. With the world's automotive center of gravity changing, it is hard to say what the future will bring.

There are also some great, restored, theater venues in Detroit.
