It's difficult to say because there are so many possible answers. A long walk along the lake is high on the list. The South Side St. Patricks Day Parade would possibly be #2.
I have enjoyed any of the museums, large (Museum of Science and Industry and Field Museum)or small (Swedish Museum), that I've visited in the city....oh, and the restaurants/diners....oh, and I still want to do the gangster tour sometime!!! anonymom
Taste of Chicago! - as a starting point. Gotta try the new suspended observation decks on the Sears tower when they open.
I don't know enough about Sydney's attractions to know, but from what I've seen, a sailing tour of Sydney harbor would be a great way to start, with an extended tour of Australia to follow.
You rock, Connor. :-D My favourite things in Sydney are anything involving the Harbour or foreshore... climb the bridge, catch a ferry to Manly or the Taronga Zoo, visit the Opera House, a cruise on the harbour, walk in the Botanic Gardens...
My favourite ever time in Sydney was stage managing a play in one of the small theatres in the Opera House.
As for Chicago... I've heard there's great food there. And boy do I love food.
