Occludine 19, 27.

CONCEPT

- This is late. It's because blogger destroyed my last attempt to write this entry.
- I might have news. Big news. But I'll wait until I know for sure.
- Chicago St. Patrick's Day Parade Saturday 3/12, noon, on Columbus from Balbo to Monroe. Go. It'll be cool.
- South Side St. Patrick's Day Parade Sunday 3/13, noon, on Western from 103rd to 115th. Go. It'll be cooler.
- AccuWeather insists that the wind and snow and cold Canadian air will keep cutting through the East and Widwest. There's a line running through the plains states. On the other side? Blue skies and balmy breezes and a quiet, warm sun. Stay in. It'll be cold.

COUNTRY OF THE DAY
Oman.

WORD OF THE DAY
Lachrymose.

NEWS OF THE DAY
New York Times: Just read the news today. Today is a big day for news already.

PICTURE OF THE DAY
My beloved R.E.M. jam! SHOWBIZ.

QUESTION OF THE DAY
After the zombie insurrection has been defeated, 96% of the world's population has been killed off, leaving us all fabulously wealthy (which is actually really unlikely... the world would probably enter a period of extended depression and famine due to the devastating loss of human capital.) What will you do with your newfound isolation/wealth?
