Oculine 30, 28.

DIARY

- WEATHER - Cold air moving in from the Pacific will displace the high pressure front and record highs over the Northwest. Meanwhile, the opposite will occur over Florida and the Deep South, as a high pressure front rotates in from the east. More storms will move in over New England. Incidentally, AccuWeather's summer forecast predicts above average precipitation and normal tempeatures for the eastern Midwest, the Middle Atlantic, and New England. Everyone else gets droughts and heat waves. Sorry.

- TIGERS - Yesterday, the Tigers won their seventh game in a row. The White Sox, however, lost. Yes: that's right: as we creep toward June, the Tigers are the best team in baseball at .675. They've tied their longest winning streak since 1993. The White Sox, on the other hand, lost to Tampa Bay. A lot of this year the Sox have been stumbling into traps with teams they typically walk all over. According to the Freep's article the game was far from a work of art, but try telling that to the Twins who've been swept by the Tigers twice in a rough last month.

- MAY - is Moving month.
- TODAY - Is NASCAR day and National Bike to Work day.
- HAPPY BIRTHDAY - Lorraine Hansberry, Malcolm X, André the Giant.

NATION OF THE WEEK
Luxembourg.

QUESTION OF THE DAY
Haven't done this in a year, so a repeat might be fun:
"Create" a nation and report back here.

END OF POST.
