Lunas 3, 28.

DIARY

- LAST WEEK AND THE WEEKEND - This was a tough one too, and it's going to be impossible to address it just yet. I'll finish reporting on Scavhunt and then catch up on this stuff.

- WEATHER - Weird start to the week. First: Midwest, New England, and Middle Atlantic - stop bitching. It's going to warm up soon enough, so just put on a jacket and wait for the afternoon. Second: An 'L' shape of storms will begin forming this afternoon along a frontal bountary that runs along the eastern fringe of the Rockies and then cuts across the South near the Tennessee-Kentucky line.

- TIGERS - Detroit vs. Cinci at Comerica. Nine innings of nothing. Then, at the bottom of the tenth, Polanco hits a homer. The day before, Curtis Granderson showed up Ken Griffey. We're still on top of our game. Maybe I ought to buy my post-season tickets, eh?

- MAY - Is Clean Air month.
- MAY - Is Creative Beginnings month.
- HAPPY BIRTHDAY - Richard Wagner, I suppose. More heartily, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Lawrence Olivier. And most importantly, Cate!

NEWS OF THE WEEK:
Today's Navel-Gazey Grimness: The Washington Post: US lawmaker says 24 Iraqis killed in 2005 incident.
More Grimness: The New York Times: Riot at Guantanamo as torture watchdog calls for its closure.
Less grim (hopefully...): The BBC: Montenegro chooses independence.

QUESTION OF THE DAY
What is your seduction style?

END OF POST.
